David Ward MP & Baroness Susan Kramer to meet with Bradford Business leaders

January 18, 2012 5:19 PM

David Ward MP and Baroness Kramer will meet with business leaders in Bradford to discuss issues local businesses face in relation to finance and banking.

Business leaders from across Bradford will have a chance to discuss issues facing Bradford businesses at a meeting with Bradford East MP David Ward and the Susan Kramer at the Bradford Chamber Business Park, New Lane, Laisterdyke. The discussion will be around finance and banking for business with a particular focus on micro financing, access to finance in particular for start-up businesses.

David Ward MP said:

"It is important that businesses from our city have an opportunity to discuss issues directly with Members of Parliament. If businesses in Bradford are to prosper it is important that Parliament and Government understand the issues affecting them".

"Baroness Kramer has a wide knowledge of the business world and will be able to take the concerns raised back to Parliament and help me continue to fight for more jobs in Bradford".

Susan Kramer said:

"I am pleased to listen to business leaders in Bradford and hear about how banking restrictions on small firms are affecting them. I am keen to hear how self employed people and new business are finding the financial climate as they often struggle to access banking services.

If you are a resident of the Bradford East constituency and are writing to discuss any issue that Parliament or government is responsible for, you must provide your home address as MPs are generally only permitted to act on behalf of constituents.

If you are not a constituent, you do not need to provide your address, but the matters we can deal with are more limited and you may wish to contact your local MP in the first instance.
